These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the PL Trading Bot, PL Admin Bot, the Paul Laurent Trading Discord community, and the website paul-laurent-trading.com (collectively, the "Services"), operated by Paul Laurent Trading ("we," "us," or "our").

By using any of our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

1. Description of Services

Paul Laurent Trading provides:

  • PL Trading Bot — a Discord bot delivering market news feeds, calendars, alerts, and analytical tools to Discord servers
  • PL Admin Bot — a Discord bot providing server management, moderation, onboarding, engagement, and security features for Discord communities
  • Paul Laurent Trading Discord — a community Discord server focused on stock market discussion, trade ideas, and market analysis
  • paul-laurent-trading.com — the official website for our Services

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services, consistent with Discord's own Terms of Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By using our Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Discord Bot Usage

By adding PL Trading Bot or PL Admin Bot to your Discord server, you agree that:

  • The bots will access and process data necessary to provide their features, as described in our Privacy Policy
  • You are responsible for configuring the bots appropriately for your server
  • You will not use the bots to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
  • You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, modify, or redistribute the bot software
  • You will not use the bots for any illegal purpose or to facilitate illegal activity
  • We may update, modify, or discontinue bot features at any time without prior notice

4. Community Rules

When using the Paul Laurent Trading Discord server, you agree to:

  • Follow all server rules as posted in the rules and information channels
  • Not post spam, harassment, hate speech, or illegal content
  • Not impersonate staff members or other users
  • Not share or redistribute premium content outside the community
  • Respect other members and maintain constructive discussion

Violation of community rules may result in warnings, muting, temporary bans, or permanent bans at our discretion.

5. Financial Disclaimer

Our Services do not constitute financial advice. All trade ideas, watchlists, alerts, scanner results, options analysis, and market commentary are provided for informational and educational purposes only.

  • We are not registered investment advisors, broker-dealers, or financial planners
  • Past performance of any trade idea or alert does not guarantee future results
  • You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and any resulting gains or losses
  • You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making investment decisions
  • Trading stocks and options involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor

We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any market data, news, or analysis provided through our Services.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Access to premium features of the Paul Laurent Trading Discord requires a paid subscription
  • Free trial periods, if offered, are subject to the terms stated at the time of the offer
  • Subscription payments are processed through third-party payment providers (such as Whop or PayPal)
  • Refund policies are determined by the applicable payment provider's terms
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers
  • PL Admin Bot tier pricing (Free, Core, Pro) is as listed on the pricing page and may be updated periodically

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, bot software, documentation, and materials associated with our Services are the intellectual property of Paul Laurent Trading. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or distribute our bot software
  • Reproduce or redistribute premium content, trade ideas, or proprietary alerts
  • Use our branding, logos, or trademarks without written permission
  • Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from our Services

8. Third-Party Services

Our Services integrate with or rely on third-party services including but not limited to:

  • Discord (platform)
  • TradingView (embedded widgets)
  • Various market data providers

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or terms of these third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
  • We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services
  • We are not liable for any trading losses incurred based on information provided through our Services
  • We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or bot downtime
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

10. Termination

  • We may terminate or suspend your access to any of our Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice
  • You may stop using our Services at any time
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately
  • Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including financial disclaimer, limitation of liability, and intellectual property)

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through our Discord server or website. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Austria.
